Journal of Histopathology and Cytopathology

Aims

Our aim in publishing the Journal of Histopathology and Cytopathology (JHC) is understanding of the pathophysiological and pathogenetic mechanisms of human diseases by publishing original papers, review articles, case reports and short communications related to basic and translational fields in pathology. Pathology serves as bridges between basic biomedical science and clinical medicine with particular emphasis on, but is not restricted to, tissue based studies only. Another objective of this journal is to acquire modern and updated technological knowledge constantly generating around the globe and to disseminate those to new researcher of pathology.

Scopes

JHC is published twice a year Members of Bangladesh Academy of Pathology (BAP) are qualified histopathologists and Cytopathologists. They are continuously involved in practicing Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology in different institutes and private laboratories. Their cases are components of research materials in the fields of Histopathology and Cytopathology including routine haematoxylin stained slides, immunohistochemical (IHC) study, FISH techniques etc. So, there is vast field in the research of Histopathology and Cytopathology in Bangladesh.
